Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Divorce) Act 1986

Maintenance rights of divorced Muslim women. Reasonable provision during iddat period. SC landmark (Shah Bano 1985) led to this legislation. Section 125 CrPC also available (Daniel Latifi, SC 2001).
